Metro Turizm Staff Ignored Passengers and Delayed My Trip



I would like to report a serious dissatisfaction I experienced while traveling in seat number 13 on the Metro Turizm bus service departing from the Samandıra facilities at 5:50 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, with İzmir as the destination. The bus departed Samandıra with a delay of approximately 30 minutes, and passengers getting off in cities along the route (such as Bursa) understandably reacted because they arrived nearly one hour late. Due to the existing delay, it was clear that arrival in İzmir would also be late. Throughout the journey, despite pressing the attendant call button many times, no staff member came to assist us. When we asked the driver and the attendant questions about break times and the trip, they acted as if they did not hear us and not only failed to respond, but did not even show the slightest facial expression. This level of indifference and disrespect toward passengers truly disturbed me. In addition, although there were power outlets under other seats on the bus, there was no outlet under seat number 13 or the seat next to it. Because I could not charge my phone, I was unable to follow my route on the map. Even though I reported this issue to both the driver and the attendant, they did not help in any way, and I was forced to move to an empty seat on my own. When I tried to speak with the staff on board, they continued to behave as if they were deliberately ignoring me. I request that Metro Turizm first warn the staff assigned to this vehicle about their attitude toward passengers and provide them with the necessary training, and that seat number 13 not be sold again until the power outlet issue under that seat is resolved so that other passengers do not experience the same inconvenience. Due to the service quality issues I experienced, I request a full or at least partial refund of my ticket fare, which amounted to $23. The PNR number for my trip is ymkfj**.
