Mercedes GLB 2020 Battery Warning & Warranty Denial
My 2020 model Mercedes GLB with 48,000 km on the clock has started giving battery warnings, causing the start-stop function to malfunction. The previous owner had all the maintenance done at the dealership, but when I went to the service center today, they stated that the maintenance would not be covered under warranty. The previous owner claimed to have had regular maintenance done and even has the invoice for the last service, where they said the warranty was still valid during the maintenance. Do maintenance intervals vary from city to city? Can a car battery die in 4 years? When I researched online, I saw that Mercedes has a chronic issue with this, but various excuses are being given to avoid warranty coverage.
