Even though we stopped using the MentalUP application years ago, I still cannot successfully cancel the membership we originally created. Even after deleting the account and not using the application for a very long time, I kept receiving messages saying that the system was “unable to process the payment.” Eventually, on March 29, 2026, approximately $4 was charged from my personal bank/credit card.
Canceling a subscription should not be this difficult. It should be a simple process, yet I have been completely unable to permanently delete or cancel this account. I tried multiple times through both the application and the website to end the membership and stop these payment messages, but I was never able to fully close the subscription. On top of that, reaching customer service or any support line is nearly impossible. The lack of accessible support has made this situation even worse and has left me feeling completely helpless.
I consider the approximately $4 taken from my card for a membership that I neither use nor can successfully cancel to be unfair. My request from MentalUP is for this membership to be completely terminated, all automatic renewals to be stopped permanently, and the approximately $4 charged unnecessarily to be refunded back to my card.
