Meitu Unlimited VIP Does Not Include All Features
On July 26, 2026, I purchased an annual unlimited VIP membership for the Meitu app on my iPhone through Apple for $37 (1,799 TL). At the time of purchase, the app offered me a VIP membership with the promise of unlimited use. My subscription is currently shown in my Apple account as an active, automatically renewing “Meitu VIP Group Yearly Auto-renew VIP” plan valid until July 26, 2027.
However, despite having paid for what was presented as an “unlimited VIP” membership, the app continues to ask me to purchase an additional VIP+ subscription or buy extra credits in order to access many of its features. In other words, the membership I paid for as an “unlimited VIP” subscription does not actually include all of the features as promised. I am repeatedly shown messages telling me to “upgrade to unlock unlimited VIP+ access.”
I was unable to report this issue directly to Meitu because I could not find any contact channel through which I could reach the company. Although my payment was processed through Apple and my annual subscription is clearly shown as active, I have been left at a disadvantage because the app continues to request additional subscription payments.
I request that the annual unlimited VIP membership I purchased be properly configured to include all of the features that were promised to me at the time of purchase. If the subscription does not actually provide the unlimited access advertised, I request a full refund of the $37 I paid. I also request a clear explanation of what features are actually included in the “Meitu VIP Group Yearly Auto-renew VIP” subscription and why I am being asked to make additional payments despite already purchasing an unlimited VIP membership.
