I have been using a Medtronic insulin pump for 11 years. This is the first time I've encountered such indifferent behavior. My pump malfunctioned with a screen error a month ago. They assured me they would take care of it and provide a new device under warranty, but claimed there was no stock available. However, during this time, new pumps have been supplied to others who started using them. When I pointed this out, they said different units operate with different stocks. For a health-oriented company, failing to resolve this internally is unacceptable.
