I own a 2017 Maserati Levante and have consistently purchased extended warranties to ensure my vehicle remains covered. As of June 2, 2022, I extended the warranty for an additional year, which is still active. However, I was informed that the extended warranty only covers the engine and transmission, leaving me restricted to this limited coverage. Recently, the front and rear suspension arms of my vehicle failed, and Maserati has refused to cover the repair under goodwill, demanding approximately €4,000 for the fix. For a brand claiming to be a world-class luxury manufacturer, this lack of support is unacceptable. Even when I’m willing to pay for extended coverage, I’m left with limited options and no goodwill from Maserati. A global brand must back its reputation with service, not just its name.
