Mango Sold Me Defective Pants but Refused to Take Responsibility

31

The pants I bought from Mango came apart at the seams. When I took them to the store, they told me to take them to a tailor, claiming it could be user error or friction damage, and they refused to accept the item. I explained that I had only worn the pants a few times and followed the washing instructions, but they still insisted it was not their responsibility. They are telling me to take it to a tailor as if I couldn’t think of that myself! A brand like Mango should stand behind its products instead of blaming customers for clear quality issues. There is clearly a defect in the product; if the hem comes undone after just one wash, it is a manufacturing issue. I expected better service from such a well-known brand, but this experience has been disappointing.
