Mango Changed Its Mind About Jackets Refunds Purchased on a Third Party Marketplace

Our cousin gifted us two Mango Man jackets - one in black and the other in khaki green, from Trendyol. Today, we had to go to the Mango store at Balcova Agora Shopping Mall in Izmir because the jackets we bought didn't fit properly. We brought along the Mango archive invoice to help with the exchange. The store called and said that they have men's products at the Mavişehir branch. They also mentioned that there might be a problem with the sizes they have in stock. They also mentioned that they can handle the return for us right at the store. they told us that the refund would go back to the card we used for the purchase. On November 11, 2023, we went through the return process. B*** S***, one of our staff members, signed and acknowledged the receipt of the items that were returned. They told us that the refund will be processed in 10 days. But then, after waiting for 15 days, we decided to go back to the same branch on November 25. We showed them the signed return document and the staff told us that everything would be sorted out within a week. So, on a regular Sunday, November 26th to be exact, we got a surprise call from the Mango store. They let us know that they had received the jackets we returned, but unfortunately, they couldn't process the return for some reason. We're feeling pretty stressed out about this situation. It's especially frustrating because we didn't find out about the issue until 16 days after we started the return process, and by then, Trendyol's return window had already closed. So, we ended up losing 2400 TL, and let me tell you, Mango store really made things difficult for us. It's been quite inconvenient, to say the least.
