Makes You Fluent Refund Request for Unusable Language Learning Service
I purchased a one-month $15 subscription to Makes You Fluent, an online language-learning platform, on January 6, and the payment was charged to my card. I specifically subscribed to learn German through speaking practice and improve my conversational skills. However, from the very first day I used the platform, I received none of the benefits I expected.
When I tried to use the platform’s AI Tutor feature, I repeatedly attempted to communicate with the system by asking questions such as “Is this what you mean?” because I did not fully understand how the system worked. Despite this, the system did not provide a genuine two-way conversation experience and instead remained repetitive and limited in its interaction. Although it generated sentences, I did not actually have an opportunity to practice speaking in a meaningful way. I expected a conversation-focused service, but I was barely able to practice speaking and therefore received no real benefit from the program.
On January 6, the same day I made the payment, I realized that I could not use the system as expected. I emailed h****@makesyoufluent.com that day, explained that I was unable to benefit from or properly use the program, and requested a refund of the $15 payment. Despite this, I have not received any response.
I am requesting a refund of the $15 I paid for a service that I believe does not provide the promised speaking practice and does not function as intended for my needs. I kindly ask that this issue be resolved and my refund processed as soon as possible.
