MAC Sitting Pretty Lipstick Didn't Last as Advertised

On May 31, 2026, at 6:47 p.m., I purchased the MAC Satin Lipstick in the shade Sitting Pretty (824) from the MAC Cosmetics store in Caddebostan, Erenköy, Kadıköy, Istanbul. I paid approximately $32 for the lipstick. Before I made the purchase, the store staff told me that the lipstick would last for up to eight hours, and I relied on that claim when deciding to buy it.

Shortly after applying the lipstick, I ate a light snack. Within about one hour, the lipstick had completely worn off. I was very disappointed to see that a product advertised as providing eight-hour wear disappeared so quickly, especially after only minimal eating. In my experience, the lipstick did not perform anywhere close to what was promised at the time of purchase.

Because the product failed to deliver the advertised performance, I believe it did not meet reasonable expectations for a premium cosmetic product. I still have my purchase receipt, and I respectfully request a full refund of the approximately $32 I paid for this lipstick.
