Lunchbox Cashier Disrespects Travelers After Failing to Serve Food Before Flight

On July 27, 2026, at approximately 07:15, I visited the Lunchbox (operating as Ada Restaurant) branch located at Mersin Çukurova Airport. I placed a food order totaling approximately 300 TRY, explicitly informing the staff at the time of purchase that our flight was boarding in 30 minutes.

Despite the agreed-upon timeframe, the kitchen failed to prepare our order. Because we could no longer wait without missing our flight, I requested an immediate cancellation and a refund for the undelivered food. The staff flatly refused to process the refund. To make matters worse, the female cashier responded with a highly unprofessional and mocking attitude, stating, "We'll prepare it, you can eat it on the plane," completely disregarding both our financial loss and the time-sensitive nature of airport travel.

Refusing to refund a customer for food that was not delivered within the promised window—and compounding the failure with blatant disrespect from frontline staff—is an egregious violation of basic consumer rights and hospitality standards.

I demand that Lunchbox corporate management immediately process a full refund of the ~300 TRY to my original payment method. Furthermore, I expect a formal written apology from the brand and confirmation that corrective disciplinary action has been taken regarding the cashier's unacceptable conduct.
