I Only Received the Day Cream From a L’Oréal 60+ Set Despite Seller Confirming Both

About a week ago, on June 19, I submitted a complaint through Trendyol regarding a misleading product listing. I was interested in a L’Oréal 60+ skincare set and specifically messaged the seller to confirm whether both the day and night creams were included. The seller replied and clearly confirmed that both products would be in the package. Based on that confirmation, I placed the order.

However, when the package arrived, only the day cream was included. I immediately reported this issue to Trendyol on June 19. Then, on July 8, I randomly discovered a message saying that my response time had expired. Up to that point, I had received no updates or notifications. No messages. No support. Nothing.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing and feels outright unethical. If a seller confirms something in writing and then fails to deliver, there should be clear accountability. What’s worse, neither the seller nor Trendyol has issued any apology or offered a solution.

I trusted that I was purchasing from a legitimate and transparent seller, but that was clearly not the case. I’m calling on L’Oréal representatives to step in and ensure their brand is not being misrepresented by untrustworthy third-party sellers. I also expect proper follow-up, a refund for the missing item, or shipment of the correct product.

Consumers should not be misled like this—especially when they verify details in advance and are ignored afterward. Please take this matter seriously and resolve it promptly.
