I purchased an LG UltraGear 27GX704A OLED monitor from the official LG Türkiye online store, and it was delivered to me on 23.09.2026 for a total amount of ₺20.824,15 after the campaign discount. When I took the monitor out of the box, attached the stand, placed it on the desk, connected the cables and turned it on for the first time, I noticed that the lower right part of the monitor was physically crooked and that there were visible defects on the screen in that area. In other words, the product was never used; the defect was detected during the initial setup, and I have several photos clearly showing this issue. On the same day, I submitted a return request through LG’s website with the return reason recorded as “The product arrived damaged”. My return request number is 74000002271. However, customer service told me that since I had opened the product, their policy requires a service inspection first and that the service would prepare a report and send it to them, and only then they would proceed, without providing any clear timeframe for this process. As a result, on 25.09.2026, I had to take the monitor, which had been delivered only two days earlier, to an LG authorized service center in Sakarya and hand it over. The service form states that there is a panel/case misalignment, and the product is currently at the service. For a monitor, it is naturally necessary to open the box and set up the device to be able to see whether it is crooked or has screen defects, so I do not accept the “the product was opened, the service must check it first” approach for a defect that is clearly present on first setup. I do not want any repair, part replacement or a refurbished product. I bought a brand-new product and received an item with a physical defect, which I reported on the day of delivery and for which I opened a return request the same day. My request from LG Türkiye is that the return process be completed without any kind of repair on the product and that the full amount of ₺20.824,15 I paid be refunded to me without any deduction.

The ultragear 27GX704A monitor I bought from LG arrived with the lower right corner crooked. I immediately filed a return request; LG halted the return process, saying they need a service report because the product has been opened. The product is currently in service, a service report is pending, and I am still demanding a refund. This process has been very difficult for me and has caused dissatisfaction.

They don't provide any communication at all. Definitely not a brand you'd want to go past. Even the cheapest brands can't have such a terrible system. I'm fed up with the brand now.
