LG GTL569PSAM Refrigerator Motor Failure

I am experiencing ongoing issues with my LG GTL569PSAM refrigerator, which started on September 18, 2025, and still persist. An inspection by Izmir LG Ayes Authorized Service revealed a fault in the inverter board on the motor. The service team stated that this is a chronic problem with this model and claimed the replacement is not covered under warranty, demanding ₺8,000 for the board, while also warning that the board may not activate the motor, requiring an additional motor replacement and gas refill for ₺6,000 more, making a total of ₺14,000. However, my refrigerator is both under the general warranty period and the motor itself is still covered by LG’s 10-year warranty. Despite this, I was told only the motor is included in the warranty, and all other repairs would be charged. Even though I did not authorize any repair, I was charged a ₺800 service fee (Receipt No: ODE2023000003645). On Xolvie, I found that many users with the same model refrigerator reported identical issues around the same time, which indicates this is a chronic defect. For this reason, I request that my refrigerator be replaced with a new, defect-free product of the same specifications.
