I Got Motor Failure on My LG Fridge After 4 Years
I bought my LG refrigerator just 4 years ago, specifically because it came with a 10-year motor warranty. I trusted LG to stand behind their product, and that warranty gave me confidence in the purchase. But now, the motor has already failed—and to make matters worse, the authorized service center is demanding ₺5,500 for the repair.
This is incredibly frustrating. Why offer a 10-year motor guarantee if you're not going to honor it when the motor breaks down? The fridge hasn’t been misused, and a product this essential shouldn’t stop working after only 4 years. Clearly, something is wrong with the quality if the motor can’t even last half the promised time.
We chose LG over other brands because of the long-term motor coverage. Now we feel deceived and unsupported. I’m asking LG to cover the full cost of the repair as promised—without any additional charges. LG, it’s time to stand behind your products and honor your warranty commitments. Don’t make loyal customers pay for your failures!
