Our LG washing machine broke down over the weekend. I called LG several times and requested repairs. When I called customer service today after returning from the holiday to find out the situation, they told me that they could not reach me and that they even came to the house, but no one was there. We were told they would come again today.
With my personal effort, I reached another LG authorized service contact number and created a repair request. After 3-4 hours, the team from LG Güneş Elektronik, the authorized service for the Yenimahalle region, who came yesterday and couldn't find us, called us. They gathered information about the malfunction and quoted a price of ₺3,100 for parts and service. When I requested a discount, I was told that the prices were fixed by the system. I had to accept it to avoid further inconvenience.
Less than 30 minutes later, another authorized LG service called and quoted a price of ₺2,600 for the same repair and parts. Now I'm asking, do LG authorized services give prices randomly? I was told the system gave a fixed price. I did not direct the service from Yenimahalle to Çayyolu; you, as the center, guided it. Will we pay for the fuel they burn?
I also condemn you for directing your service to charge exorbitant prices when there are services closer to Çayyolu in Çankaya. When I called customer service and reported the situation, the answer you gave—that you cannot interfere with the prices and each service has the authority to determine separate prices—was also nonsense. The LG name is only big until you sell the product; after the sale, you are left behind in terms of service. I don't forgive Güneş Elektronik for the extra ₺500 they charged.
