My LG Washing Machine Developed a Chronic Leak and Electrical Fault Within 2 Years
I purchased an LG washing machine from a store in Aydın less than two years ago. The machine is still under warranty. Recently, it started leaking water and making excessive noise. Eventually, it even began tripping the circuit breakers in my home, forcing me to call for service.
When the authorized service team inspected it, they confirmed that the issue originated from the machine itself — not from any user error. They explained that there is a chronic defect in the heating element (resistance), which caused both the water leakage and the electrical leakage.
It is extremely disappointing that a brand-new washing machine developed such serious problems so quickly. I trusted LG for its supposed reliability, but this experience has been a huge letdown. I demand that LG take full responsibility for this manufacturing defect and either repair the machine properly or replace it under warranty. I expect a swift and serious response.
