Damaged Shelf and Warranty Issues with my LG Refrigerator
Just a year ago, I purchased an LG refrigerator for my summer home. I've only had it for about two months. The shelves were sinking at the center division from the start. I thought it might just need adjusting, so I tried to fix it myself at first. When I returned this summer and the shelves collapsed again, I called the service. They informed me that the cheap plastic part inside was broken and classified it as a user error, claiming that the warranty did not cover it. I was astounded that a simple plastic part could result in the replacement of the entire fridge, and they demanded payment. How could it be a user error when I hardly ever used the refrigerator? Why should we buy a high-priced refrigerator if we can't store anything heavy in it? Furthermore, I've never had such problems with any fridge I've used in years. The fridge currently lacks shelves, and I've been struggling for the past month. I refuse to pay for a refrigerator that I don't even use. I urgently request a complimentary replacement. I'll do my best to express my concerns on social media. This is unacceptable behavior for a brand like LG. Please, LG officials, take the necessary steps.
