LG Refrigerator Under Warranty Still Not Cooling After Multiple Failed Repairs
My LG brand refrigerator was under warranty and a service was requested on the grounds that it was not cooling, and during the checks, it was stated that a part called a valve did not open and the inner back cover of the cabinet was completely replaced. However, when my cabinet was not cooling again as a result of the operation, we applied to the service again and reported that the problem was not fixed. We learned that the service's authorization was taken and this time another service was directed. The service staff who came said that the motor was faulty and this time they changed the motor. However, our product was still not cooling. The staff came again and measured it and said that it was normal and left. Thereupon, I placed 4 degrees in various parts of the cabinet and took videos and screenshots proving that the cabinet was not doing its job properly. For example, when the cabinet was not faulty, our vegetable compartment was between 0 and 1.5 degrees. As you know, the vegetable compartments are like this in all new-generation cabinets. However, after this fault, our vegetable compartment is around 5 degrees. The friends who came argue that this is normal. Because no one wants to be stigmatized as the wrong procedure. It is as if we do not know how the refrigerator we have bought and used for years cools. When we put products in the vegetable drawer, we even observed that if the product touched the bottom, it was close to freezing. Unfortunately, all the friends who come to me have incomplete information. When the refrigerator is set to 4 degrees, the water in the lid is around 7-8 degrees. These are not acceptable situations. We placed 4 thermometers in our refrigerator set to 4 degrees at 9:00 p.m. and the lid was not opened until 06:00 in the morning. Our refrigerator was moderately full. Although we shared this information with LG center, it is said that the measurements of the service, which did not do its job properly, are correct. Do you see this nonsense? While the service should have placed thermometers and measured various areas for a day, it took 5 minutes to measure and tried to cover up its mistake. I am sharing my detailed measurements here.
