On 02.12.2024, I purchased a Lenovo TAB M11 TB330FU tablet from Media Markt for approximately ₺8,000. I used the device without any problems for about 5 months. In May 2025, the tablet suddenly stopped turning on. There was no drop, impact or any physical damage; we only experienced a power-on problem, which I considered to be a software or operational issue. In June, since the device was still under warranty, I sent it to KVK service via Media Markt. When I delivered the tablet to the store staff, no bent frame, screen issue or any visible damage was detected or noted; there was no visible defect on the device anyway. However, KVK service issued a repair fee of ₺9,653.34 to me on the grounds of a “bent screen/frame”. At that time, while the new sales price of the device was below ₺8,000, it is unacceptable that a repair fee higher than the new price is requested for a product whose warranty has not yet expired, and I did not accept this repair fee. As a result, I was only able to use the tablet, which I bought about one and a half years ago, for 5 months, and I have been without the device for about 1 year. During this period, I have been seriously aggrieved. Despite the time that has passed, no satisfactory solution has been offered, the responsibility has been unfairly placed on the user, and I have seen that the brand does not stand behind its own policies and warranty. I request that the current equivalent value of the amount I paid one and a half years ago be paid to me and I expect an apology for the grievance I have experienced. I have already applied to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and I am waiting for the result, and if necessary, I will take the matter to court. I also state that I will share this irresponsibility, indifference, the grievance I have experienced and the brand’s attitude on social media and other platforms to inform the public. From Lenovo, Media Markt and KVK, I demand a fair, customer-oriented solution that respects consumer rights and resolves this issue without forcing me to continue legal processes.
