I purchased a La Roche-Posay sunscreen that was advertised as being formulated to prevent eye irritation. However, despite being careful not to apply it near my eyes, they begin to sting and turn red almost immediately after application.
I chose this product because of its reputation for quality and the high price led me to believe it would be effective and gentle. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Even cheaper sunscreens I’ve used in the past never caused this reaction.
Now I can’t even use it, and I feel like my money has been completely wasted. The product does not live up to its claims, and it’s certainly not a price-performance match.
La Roche-Posay, I expected much better. If a sunscreen marketed as “eye-safe” causes burning without even direct contact, that’s a major flaw. I request a refund or resolution, and I hope the company takes this kind of feedback seriously moving forward.
