About 20 days ago, I purchased the La Roche-Posay Bright Botanical cream on the recommendation of a store representative, who examined my skin and assured me it would be a good fit. Unfortunately, the results have been anything but positive.
Shortly after I began using the cream, I developed painful, inflamed, under-the-skin cystic acne, especially concentrated on my cheeks. These breakouts are deep, swollen, and full of fluid, and they’ve caused noticeable discomfort and visible skin damage. Prior to using this product, I did not have such breakouts.
It’s frustrating that a product recommended to improve my skin has instead made it significantly worse. I trusted both the expertise of the in-store staff and the brand’s reputation, only to end up with painful skin issues.
La Roche-Posay, I’m asking for immediate support. I need to know what in this product may have triggered such a strong reaction and how to reverse the damage. I also want to be guided on how to return the cream and receive a refund. Please take responsibility for the adverse effects your product has caused and help me resolve this.
