Kumho PS71 Sidewall Cracks Could Cause Blowout
I purchased Kumho PS71 tires for my vehicle. After driving about 6,000–7,000 km, I noticed long cracks running along the inner sidewalls of the tires. I removed them and replaced them with a new set of Kumho PS71s, but when I checked again, the same cracks appeared across the entire inner sidewalls.
If these tires were to burst on the highway, it could cost us our lives. Is human life really this cheap? I want to ask the Kumho authorities directly. I will never again put Kumho tires on my car. I truly hope someone at Kumho reads this complaint and takes it seriously — no one’s life should be at risk because of a tire defect.
I’ve now switched to another brand, and I haven’t experienced any problems. For the record, I never once drove with low tire pressure while the Kumho tires were installed.
