I decided to explore the realm of online shopping and placed an order with Kıyafet Sepeti for a breathtaking tulle gown adorned with intricate embroidery. The package arrived in a chaotic state, squeezed into a small box that was barely able to hold the dress. Without being able to assess the extent of the damage until I opened it up, I found that the embroidered section had been completely flattened, making the dress impossible to wear.
After contacting the company, I let them know about their error and asked for a refund. Unfortunately, they were adamant about doing an exchange, stating that I had agreed to take responsibility when I made the purchase. Strangely enough, this clause was not mentioned anywhere in the sales agreement on their website.
They insisted that I should have rejected the package if it seemed damaged, implying that I might have to dry clean the dress as a standard practice. It seems that it's completely fine to spend a significant amount of money on a dress, only to later find out that dry cleaning is expected. If you happen to receive a dress that's covered in mud, they might even recommend dry cleaning as a possible solution.
Despite their promise of free replacement for their exchange-related errors, they conveniently charged me for shipping during the exchange process. With hopes of saving my hard-earned cash, I reluctantly opted for a different model, only to be disappointed once again with yet another incorrect dress. It's truly a comedic situation with this so-called 'reputable' company.
What was their excuse? They thought I would be satisfied with the mix-up because the dresses were similar in color. Two different dresses, one color – a clear indication of their lack of ability to distinguish between their own products.
When I voiced my dissatisfaction and warned them about filing a complaint, they responded with a shocking level of rudeness, suggesting that I had chosen the wrong dress. Avoid Kıyafet Sepeti at all costs, as it is definitely not a reliable shopping platform. Take a look at the photos I've attached. They show a dress that was packed in a less than satisfactory manner, two dresses that are supposedly identical, and the pleasant attitude of the company representative.
