Kiwi.com Refused to Refund My Flight Despite an Airline Schedule Change
I am requesting the cancellation and full refund of my Turkish Airlines flight, reservation number 789928590, scheduled for June 12, 2026, from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) to Istanbul Airport (IST), flight TK2329, departing at 4:55 PM and arriving at 6:15 PM. I purchased this ticket through Kiwi.com for approximately $118.
This flight was booked specifically as a connection for my onward journey from Istanbul to Riyadh. However, my main Istanbul–Riyadh flight operated by Flyadeal was unilaterally rescheduled by the airline. I was informed of this schedule change on June 6, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM. Due to the revised departure time of the Flyadeal flight, it is no longer realistically possible for me to make the connection using Turkish Airlines flight TK2329.
This situation was caused entirely by changes made by the airlines and is not the result of any action, cancellation request, or itinerary modification on my part. Despite this, both Turkish Airlines and Kiwi.com have rejected my request for a refund.
Since the original purpose of the ticket can no longer be fulfilled due to circumstances outside my control, I request that this case be evaluated as a forced cancellation. I ask that the full ticket price of approximately $118 be refunded to me without any deductions, penalties, or service fees. I also request written confirmation regarding the refund process and a clear explanation of the steps that will be taken to resolve my claim.
