Ketogo App Misleading Instagram Ad Led to Unexpected Charges
I came across a Turkish-language advertisement for the Ketogo app on Instagram. Since the ad was entirely in Turkish, I assumed I would be able to use the app comfortably, so I purchased it through Instagram. However, after downloading the app, I realized that the entire content is in English, there is no Turkish language option, and it cannot be translated. This was not disclosed in the advertisement, and as a result, I cannot use the app at all.
On January 27, 2026, a total of $78 was charged to my VakıfBank credit card—$35 for the membership fee and $43 for the Premium fee. Then, on March 2, 2026, an additional $34 was charged to my card. The transaction reference number on my statement is 2029155155. While I believed I was making a one-time purchase just to try the app, I was charged multiple times without any notification or clear information.
Since this is a foreign company, I tried to find contact information but could not reach any representative. I was unable to find any email address or direct support channel, so I cannot contact the company. Due to misleading advertising and lack of proper disclosure, I do not want to pay for a service that I cannot use.
I request a full refund of all amounts charged and the immediate cancellation of this subscription.
