I used the Ketogo app on the Android platform for a one-time payment only. Even though I did not start any subscription in the app and have no subscription record, I noticed that multiple transactions were made from my Yapı Kredi Bank credit card on March 23 without my knowledge or approval.
On March 23, four suspicious charges were made by Ketogo from my card: approximately $41, $33, $97, and $21. These transactions total a significant amount, and I did not authorize any of them or give consent in any way. Although the transactions appear to be related to a subscription billed in USD, I did not start any subscription within the app, cannot see any subscription record, and there is no option available for me to cancel these charges.
Despite the fact that these transactions are clearly visible in my bank statement and receipts, I have been told by both Ketogo and my bank’s customer service that they cannot be refunded. Even though I only used the app for a one-time payment, being charged multiple high amounts consecutively has caused me serious financial and emotional distress.
I request that all charges made without my authorization be fully refunded to me as soon as possible. I also request that the Ketogo app and its payment infrastructure be thoroughly investigated and that necessary security measures be urgently implemented to prevent other users from experiencing similar unauthorized transactions.
