I purchased a Karcher foldable water tank cleaning machine for my workplace, paying ₺5,700. Unfortunately, the device broke down after a very short period of use. I noticed that the water tank was leaking into the electrical system, which is a serious defect. On July 17, I sent the product to the official Karcher service center in Istanbul, but for the past two months I have received no clear updates on its status.
I have called the service center multiple times. Each time, I was only told that “the part is on order, the process is unclear, you will be contacted later”, but no detailed explanation or timeline was ever given. My last call, about three weeks ago, also ended with the same vague response. I was not even informed whether the repair would be covered under warranty or at my own cost.
I specifically purchased this machine to use during the summer months in my business, yet due to Karcher’s delays and poor service, I was unable to use it at all. Since the product is still under warranty but already failing so early, I am worried that once the warranty expires I will be left without any support. Furthermore, given that the unit failed so quickly, I no longer trust it will work reliably even if it is repaired.
For these reasons, I am formally requesting a full refund of my purchase. Both the serious defect in the machine and the lack of proper communication and service have caused me significant loss and frustration. Karcher must take responsibility and resolve this issue fairly.
