Karaca Gift Card Debacle - Denied Usage Despite Valid Credit
I went to the branch to use the gift card I received as a gift from Karaca. They told me there was no balance, despite the fact that I had the cheque receipt. They stated that they had forwarded the issue to their headquarters. I was informed I would be contacted, but no one responded. So I called Karaca again, and five hours later, they called back, saying the problem had been rectified and I should attend. However, when I went back, they acknowledged the amount but refused to allow me to use it. I was advised to contact customer service. I made a new record on Monday and phoned Karaca three times, but the problem was not rectified and they did not respond. It felt like they sold us a check that we couldn't use.
