Iyzico Failed to Help Me Recover ₺4300 After I Was Deceived by a Fake Message
On October 12, 2024, I received a message on my phone regarding my package, which directed me to a PTT page. Since I had two more packages expected to arrive that day, I clicked on the message. The message stated that they would resend my package for a fee of ₺7. After entering my card details, ₺4,300.09 was withdrawn from my account. I immediately canceled my credit card and asked my bank how the situation could be resolved. The bank informed me that they couldn’t handle it before the transaction was authorized, but that the institution which withdrew the money could refund it immediately. I called the institution, but despite being on hold for half an hour, I couldn't reach anyone. I called again in the evening and was told they couldn't resolve the issue and that they only manage the page's infrastructure. My bank informed me that before this amount was withdrawn, they had attempted to charge an amount of over ₺23,000, but it was unsuccessful due to insufficient funds. After withdrawing the money, they attempted to charge ₺10,000 twice more. My request to recover the money was denied. I hope they receive the punishment they deserve.
