Apple Denied Warranty on My 26-Day-Old iPhone 16 After Charging Burn

When I plugged in my 26-day-old iPhone 16 to charge on the night of December 31 using the original charging cable that came in the box and the original adapter I received from an authorized service center, burning occurred in both the cable and the adapter. The next morning, without attempting any intervention, I delivered the phone to the Gürgençler Apple Authorized Service Center in Mersin, and since that date, I have been waiting for my device to be finalized and returned to me. Following the inspection carried out by the authorized service center and Apple, I was informed that the device was excluded from warranty coverage due to the presence of a foreign object or excessive dust inside the phone. However, as someone who uses the device only between home and work in closed environments, I find it unreasonable that such a large amount of dust could enter the phone in such a short time. The device is only 26 days old, has never been dropped, has not suffered any impact, and it is widely known that these phones are specifically marketed as water- and dust-resistant with an IP68 certification. Despite this, I do not accept the decision to exclude the device from warranty coverage based on “foreign object/dust.” After experiencing this burning issue while using only original charging accessories, I find it unfair and against consumer rights to demand payment from me for a device that is nearly new and has a completely fault-free usage history. I request that my iPhone 16 be evaluated within the scope of the warranty and replaced with a brand-new device of the same model and specifications at no cost to me.
