If IndiGo Airlines damaged your bag and offered only a voucher but you want a full repair/refund instead;
Contact IndiGo Baggage Services / Customer Relations with a clear escalation;
• State that your checked baggage was damaged on their flight and the voucher offered is not sufficient
• Provide your flight number/date, booking reference (PNR), baggage tag number, and where/when the damage occurred
• Attach clear photos of the damage, your PIR (Property Irregularity Report) from the airport, and the voucher offered
• Include receipts for the bag or costs of repair estimates if available
Ask them to;
• Confirm that the damage was caused by the airline’s handling
• Explain why they offered only a voucher instead of full repair or reimbursement
• Authorize full repair or pay the full cost of repair/replacement to restore your bag to its previous condition
• Provide written confirmation of the decision and how/when they will honor it
If the problem remains unresolved after contacting support, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to raise awareness and pursue a resolution.
