Hyundai Sold Me a Defective i20 and Ignored Court Orders for 9 Years
I bought a Hyundai i20 from Sönmezler Otomotiv in Çanakkale, Turkey. The car turned out to be defective, and they showed no interest in resolving the issue. They even tried to blame me. It’s been 9 years and still no solution. Even though I won the court cases, nothing has been done. Hyundai Turkey’s head office takes no action. It’s just a building called a headquarters but completely disconnected from the customer. Hyundai may look like a global brand, but its representation in Turkey is deeply disappointing. For 9 whole years, courts have ruled that the car should be replaced, yet here I am, still stuck with a defective vehicle. If you want to feel regret, go ahead and buy one too.
