On November 30, 2025, I tried to use the Hypic – Photo Editor app on my iPhone under a 7-day free trial. However, I noticed that an annual subscription fee of $34 was attempted to be charged to the card registered to my App Store account. The charge did not go through because I did not have sufficient funds on my card; however, I can see that the amount will be charged as soon as I add money to the card. I experienced hardship after encountering this charge while simply trying to use my free trial.
When I reviewed user comments, I saw that other people reported experiencing the same issue, which makes me question whether this has become a revenue model. Even though I signed up for the 7-day free trial, I immediately canceled the subscription; however, the system still shows that the subscription remains active until November 30, 2026. After deleting the app and attempting to reinstall it, I was prompted to enter a different card because there were insufficient funds on my existing card.
Due to this situation, I request that my hardship be resolved, that the paid subscription—initiated without my clear consent or before my free trial ended—be fully canceled, and that no charges be requested or collected from me in connection with this transaction.

Based on that information, I started the trial and canceled the subscription the very same day. Ev...
On December 12, 2025, using my iPhone SE, I started what was advertised in the Hypic photo app as a “free 7-day trial.” However, immediately after activating the trial, I saw that approximately $50 had been charged to my account. Despite clearly stating “free trial,” the app charged me right away, w...
I downloaded and used the Hypic app on my iPhone with the intention of using only the free trial, but on January 11, 2026, my Polaris Bank card ending in 2856 was charged 59,900 for a yearly subscription without my clear consent. I did not intend to purchase a yearly plan and only wanted to try the ...
