I own a Huawei Watch GT4 Titanium smartwatch. After the battery was completely depleted and reached 0%, I immediately connected the device to its charger. However, the watch never powered on again and became completely unresponsive.

Because the warranty period had already expired, I sent the watch to Huawei’s authorized service center in Istanbul on June 1, 2026, as a paid repair request. Following the inspection, I was informed that the device allegedly had liquid damage and was therefore not eligible for any support. Based on this assessment, I was presented with a repair quotation that I consider excessively expensive. In fact, newer smartwatch models are currently available on the market at prices lower than the repair cost I was asked to pay.

Before sending the device to the service center, I attempted to resolve the issue myself by testing different charging adapters, charging cables, and charging methods. Unfortunately, none of these attempts worked, and the watch remained completely unresponsive.

During my discussions with both the service center and Huawei customer support, I was repeatedly told that the problem was caused by liquid damage and that no alternative solution could be offered. However, this is the first time the device has experienced any malfunction of this kind. Prior to this incident, I had never received any liquid damage warning, encountered any similar issue, or noticed any signs suggesting that the device had been exposed to conditions that would cause such a failure.

As a customer, I find it difficult to accept that a premium smartwatch would suddenly become unusable immediately after the battery was fully discharged and then require a repair cost that exceeds the practical value of the product. The situation has left me disappointed with both the product experience and the after-sales support process.

For these reasons, I respectfully request that Huawei review the repair assessment and reconsider the quoted repair cost. I ask for a more reasonable repair fee that does not unfairly burden the customer or, alternatively, an appropriate replacement or upgrade option under fair conditions. I hope Huawei will reevaluate my case and provide a customer-focused solution that resolves the inconvenience and financial hardship caused by this issue.
