HSBC Kept Me Waiting 64 Minutes on Customer Service Call Without Answer

I just called HSBC customer service and ended up on hold for an unbelievable 64 minutes without anyone answering. I was told over and over that my call would be answered soon, but I just kept hearing the same automated message and music on a loop. I waited forever and finally had to hang up because I couldn't get the help I was looking for. It's really annoying to think that my time was wasted, especially when I was just trying to get in touch with someone for help. I thought HSBC would provide quicker and better service, but I ended up feeling ignored. I hope they get better at responding quickly for their customers' sake.
The bank has sent an apology letter as of today. I am satisfied with it:)
