I Tried to Cancel My Hotels.com Booking but They’re Ignoring the Hotel’s Approval

I initiated a cancellation request through Hotels.com for my reservation (Booking No: 72063012505715). The platform informed me that the cancellation request had been forwarded to the hotel for approval. However, when I contacted the hotel directly, they confirmed that they had already approved the cancellation.

Despite this, Hotels.com insists that the hotel hasn’t approved anything. The app doesn’t allow me to take any further action, and I’ve received no response from customer service even after multiple attempts to reach them. I feel completely stuck in the middle with no solution in sight.

I demand that Hotels.com immediately honor the hotel’s approval and process my cancellation and refund. Ignoring both the hotel’s confirmation and the customer’s concern is completely unacceptable. Resolve this now.
