Hotelz Refuses $143 Refund After Rebooking with a New Card
I booked a hotel in Bodrum, Mugla through Hotelz for an August 15 check-in. I initially paid using the wrong card, so I canceled the booking after the system explicitly showed that I was eligible for a refund on that first transaction. I then rebooked the exact same stay using a different payment card.
Now, Hotelz is refusing to return the $143 paid for that initial canceled transaction. When I contacted customer service, representative representatives told me that no refund would be issued under any circumstances. Even though the refund appears as approved in their system, they refuse to provide a clear resolution over the phone or in writing.
I demand that Hotelz credit the promised $143 refund back to my original payment card immediately and provide a formal written explanation of this situation.
