Hotels.com Did Not Refund or Process My Free Cancellation

I booked a hotel reservation through Hotels.com with Itinerary Number 72876318369643, and the hotel approved a free cancellation. However, Hotels.com has not responded or completed the cancellation process. The phone number they provided, 00800 4488 21698, is nonfunctional, and despite numerous attempts, I could not reach anyone. Hotels.com has proven to be unreliable, making it extremely difficult to finalize the cancellation and receive my refund. This experience has been frustrating and unacceptable, as I have never dealt with such inadequate service before. I strongly discourage anyone from using Hotels.com and will escalate this matter to consumer protection authorities to ensure the issue is addressed.
