I made a payment on January 4, 2025, to purchase a domain name from Hostinger.com. However, they have not provided me with the domain name for use until today, citing a mix-up. Long discussions have not yielded any results. The conclusions I have drawn from my conversations are as follows: Hostinger.com does not keep a record of payments made by its members. In case of any confusion regarding payments, they ask the member to prove that the payment belongs to them. A credit card statement and credit card records are not sufficient. When I asked why they do not keep a record of members' payments, they cited attempts by fraudsters to take over a member's account and obtain the domain name. I did not understand this. On the contrary, in this way, when fraudsters take over the account, they can prove the payment they made and achieve their goal. If the member's payment record was kept, no matter who makes the payment, it would be credited to the member's account, and fraudulent ways would be closed. I am still waiting for a result.
