Hostinger charged me for domain renewal a month early, how can I request a refund?

According to Domain Renewal Policy in the Terms of Service, Hostinger renews domains automatically 30 days before they expire to keep service running smoothly.

This renewal is carried out if the auto-renewal feature is turned on and there are enough funds in the account.

If you weren't told about the charge or didn't plan to renew, you may be able to get your money back under their refund policy, which doesn't cover domain renewals unless you stop them right away after the charge.

Check to see if auto-renewal was turned on by logging into your Hostinger account and going to the billing area.

You can talk to Hostinger's Customer Success Team through live chat or email at [email protected] if you still think the charge was too early or not necessary.

Talk about their policy and ask for a return, being sure to explain what happened. Include any proof, such as the fact that you haven't received any emails or your decision not to renew.

If Hostinger turns down your request, check out Xolvie to read about problems other people have had and to share your own.
