I purchased a Hoover H3WPS294TAM6-17 washing machine about three weeks ago from Teknodtm White Goods Electronics. After using it 10–15 times, the drum collapsed during a wash cycle, damaging the casing. I immediately contacted an authorized Hoover service center, and a service ticket was created. The technician stated that the issue might have been caused by overloading the machine, that a spring could have broken, and therefore it would not be covered under warranty, meaning the repair would be chargeable. I have used washing machines from various brands for years and have never encountered such a problem. It is unacceptable for a product to fail this quickly under normal use, especially with damage to the casing. If such a failure is possible, the necessary precautions should have been taken during manufacturing. Although my machine is still under warranty, I am requesting a replacement due to this serious malfunction and casing damage that occurred in less than a month. I ask that the necessary action be taken.
