I Face Unauthorized Hong Kong Quxin Technology Deduction From Boost eWallet

April 12 3:22 PM7

On April 12, 2026, at around 5:00 PM, an amount of RM26.00 was automatically deducted from my Boost eWallet for my Hotlink mobile line under Maxis without my consent. I have only ever used my Boost eWallet to manually top up my Maxis line, and I have never activated any automatic deduction, recurring payment, or auto top-up feature.

This unauthorized transaction has caused me financial loss and raised serious concerns about the security of my eWallet and mobile account. I request a full refund of the RM26.00 deducted and the immediate cancellation of any existing or hidden automatic deduction or recurring payment arrangement linked to my Boost eWallet and Hotlink number, if any exist.

I also ask Maxis and Boost to investigate this incident thoroughly, provide a clear explanation of how this automatic deduction was triggered without my knowledge or approval, and ensure that similar unauthorized charges do not happen again in the future.
