Guess Store Refused To Compensate Defective Bag

I recently purchased a petite shoulder bag from the Guess store in Korupark. Excitedly, I wore it on my arm, checked it out thoroughly, and decided to buy it. However, my enthusiasm turned into disappointment just two days later when, during normal use, I discovered a loose thread under the zipper at the back. This shouldn't have happened.

Returning to the store, I explained the situation and requested an exchange. To my surprise, they insisted on sending the bag for inspection, claiming I had used it. After agreeing to the process, I received a call three days later: "Your bag has been fixed; you can come and pick it up."

Hold on a second! I never authorized any repairs, and why should I accept a "fixed" bag for an issue that wasn't my fault? The store's response was vague, stating it was unclear whose fault it was, and that the repair was the best solution. This is unacceptable! Is this how Guess stands behind its products?
