 I bought a bagless vacuum cleaner at MediaMarkt, but it only worked once before it decided to go on vacation for good. I quickly sent it back to MediaMarkt, expecting the return process to go smoothly. But they had a surprise for me—they said the product would not be sent back until it was approved by technical service, so, I took the machine home and set up an appointment for two days later. Two days later, technical service came in, grabbed the vacuum, and later returned it taped up like a crime scene with my return request paper stuck all over it. As a surprise, they told me that the return would happen once I brought the machine back to MediaMarkt. When I dutifully turned in the device, MediaMarkt dropped the bomb that the report wasn't good enough. After going back to the technical service for more checks, it came back to me with the friendly suggestion that I go back to MediaMarkt. It was then that the leader of the MediaMarkt team told me that I couldn't come back because the technical service's report wasn't complete.  the technical service technician Ms. L*** saw my situation and followed the rules. She told me I had to get the machine again. It was their mistake, not mine, so I tried to explain that I shouldn't be running errands for them. On the other hand, Ms. L*** insisted that I give the phone back to technical service, telling me that the machine wouldn't pick up and that MediaMarkt would be given a report. They didn't return the money I gave them or the taxi fare I paid because of the technical service's mistake. I had to figure out how to get the machine on my own. Even though technical support knows it made a mistake, it still won't fix it for a tired customer who has already gone through a lot. The customer shouldn't have to deal with a mess that they didn't make, and they should be able to get fair compensation.
