Kärcher Authorized Service Lost My Vacuum Cleaner
On 07.05.2025, I returned my Karcher brand vacuum cleaner to Media Markt, where I originally bought it, under the extended warranty. On 30.05.2025, I received a message on my phone stating that my upright vacuum cleaner had been repaired. I went to Media Markt to pick it up, but they said the vacuum cleaner had not arrived. I then called Karcher, and they told me it hadn’t been repaired yet. I let it go, thinking it might be delayed due to the holidays. Then on 15.06.2025, Sunday morning at 08:30, I received a call from a technician’s personal number saying that my vacuum cleaner had been sent to Mersin. When I asked why, he argued that the vacuum cleaner wasn’t mine, trying to deny any mistake. He assured me that my vacuum would be back by Tuesday. On Thursday, a vacuum cleaner was delivered to Media Markt, but I could immediately tell it wasn’t mine. When the employee checked the serial number, it confirmed my suspicion—the vacuum cleaner delivered had serial number 012629, while mine is 012626. They did absolutely nothing to fix the issue. I was also supposed to receive an additional battery, which I was entitled to, but it was never given to me despite my requests. I will never purchase from Karcher again and will discourage others as well. I am planning to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board because I feel completely mistreated and ignored.
