Google Play Charged My Card $5 Without My Authorization

On September 17, 2026, at 11:33 AM, a one-time charge of $5 was made to my Garanti Bank credit card under the name “Lidio Ödeme” through the Google Play Store. Even though I do not have any subscriptions on the Google Play Store and never authorized this transaction, the amount was charged to my card.

The transaction appears on my credit card, ending in 4029, with the description “Google Comm.” Since I do not know what this payment was for, I request that both my bank and Lidio/the relevant merchant investigate the transaction in detail.

I request that this $5 transaction be treated as an unauthorized charge, that the amount be refunded to my credit card account, and that I receive written information regarding the outcome of the investigation.
