Google Play Allowed an Unauthorized Voice Changer App Charge

I am filing a complaint regarding a payment that was made without my knowledge or consent in connection with a voice changer application I downloaded through Google Play. On September 21, 2026, at 8:21 PM, a charge of approximately $15 was automatically made using card information that does not belong to me and is associated with another person. No confirmation SMS was sent to me, yet the transaction appears to have been approved even though the card information was not mine in any way.

As a result of this situation, the cardholder has filed a complaint against me. I am therefore filing a complaint against both the application involved and Google Play. This transaction was clearly an unauthorized payment. The fact that Google Play approved such a transaction and allowed a payment to be processed without a confirmation SMS raises serious security concerns.

I request that Google Play and the relevant application immediately cancel the unauthorized payment of approximately $15 made without my knowledge or consent and provide a full refund. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will pursue the appropriate legal remedies and file the necessary complaints regarding this matter.
