If you cancelled your Google One plan after the price went up, don't worry—your data isn't lost right away. You just go back to the free 15-GB limit, but you can still view all of your old files, emails, and photos.
However, if you use more than 15 GB of storage, you'll be limited. You won't be able to send or receive emails, and you won't be able to make new uploads or copies until you're back under the free limit.
Google stores your extra data for up to two years before it may start to delete it. This gives you a lot of time to either clear out your storage or resubscribe.
You can either resubscribe to Google One, which will quickly lower the storage limits, or delete or back up files, even when using Google Takeout, to get back below the free limit.
If you want to keep using Google without paying, start by getting rid of big files and old emails. You might also want to move important data to a different service or your computer.
