Novartis Azarga Eye Drops Have Been Unavailable for Months Without a Clear Explanation

I have been regularly using Novartis Azarga 10 mg/mL eye drops for approximately 20 years as part of my glaucoma treatment. For about the past eight months, I have had great difficulty obtaining this medication, and for the past four months, I have been completely unable to find it. The last time, I was only able to find three boxes with great difficulty in Niğde. Since then, I have been unable to find the medication at any pharmacy in either Ankara or Niğde.
The lack of any clear explanation as to whether this medication is still being manufactured is causing serious difficulties for glaucoma patients like me. We are constantly having to visit pharmacy after pharmacy, creating significant problems in terms of both time and access to our regular treatment. The sudden disappearance from the market of a medication that we have relied on for many years and that is important for managing our eye pressure is understandably causing us considerable concern.
I request that Novartis provide clear and official information on whether Azarga eye drops are still being manufactured. If production is continuing, I would like an explanation as to why the medication has been unavailable on the market for such an extended period. If production has been discontinued, I request official information on whether there is an equivalent and reliable alternative product available for glaucoma patients.
I expect this uncertainty regarding a medication that directly affects patients' health to be addressed promptly and for the difficulties faced by patients to be resolved as soon as possible.
